Please give me some help on mods

I have lifted and regeared and went bigger in my tires and my MPG suck even worse than i thought. I have a lift of 9" total and running 37" tires with 456 gears. I thought changing to 456 would help in MPG but i was way off, before my gear swap i was making 15 MPG on highway with 35" tires and factory gears, now with 37" tall tires and 456 gears i make 11.8 the best yet. This is a daily driver so im sure you can feel my pain, if anyone knoes of mods that i can do to help get a little more MPG out of my truck i would appreciate it. And please give me mods that are known to help Pulleys, Spacers, Chips, etc.
i do not want to waste my money if it might work.

One thing to keep in mind is that if your gear ratio and tires are not stock, your speedometer and odometer will both be thrown out of whack. Bigger tires mean fewer revolutions per mile, so your speed and miles driven will both be lower than actual.

To get the best performance out of your truck, you need a programmer, such as an XCal or a Gryphon. I recommend a Gryphon from www.PHPTune.com.
