Ok bear with me. Ive read just about every thread in here on tuners and programmers.I need some help I want to get a tuner or programmer for both my trucks but dont know what to get. i want to get the good stuff like better throttle respond hard shifting and so on can some one help me out.Is it possible to get one device for both truck? Will it void my warrenty on my new truck its a 08 with 10000 miles on it?Can i change back to stock if i need to. Lets start with that.

 

Just read through the threads here. There's one programmer that has "bullets" (whatever those are) that allow you to use it on more than one vehicle - but you pay for the "bullets".

If a car manufacturer thinks anything you've done to the truck has damaged it, it will void the warranty. Good programmers will not damage the truck and you can restore it to the stock tune before you take it to the dealer anyway.

My favorite tuner is Bill Cohron at www.PHPTune.com He sells the Gryphon programmmer and it features up to three custom tunes for different needs as well as gauges to monitor critical engine parameters.

Other folks like the tuners offered by Justin Starkey at VMP or Mike Troyer at TP. Look through these forums and take your pick.

Regardless of the tuner (out of those mentioned above) you can always return the vehicle to stock.

thanks for the info what do i have to do to get one like yours? do i tell him all the stuff that is done to the truck and he will tune for it or is there set tunes kind of one tune fits all i would like to get one for my 01 that has alot of stuff done to it my 08 has nothing and still brand new has 10000 miles on it and a little new to the tune and program deal kind want to know what im doing before i screw that truck up lol thanks again
