Looks good Corey!

I joined the forum too. Seems like a good place to share PHP specific information without a lot of static from outsiders.

Exclamation

I will be e-mailing some customers this week -- once again! -- to ask for HEX codes. Over the past few months, Bill has sent out a couple of mass e-mailings to customers who still haven't told us their HEX codes, but here I sit with a pile of invoices/customer order forms (one dating back to APRIL!) for customers waiting for custom tunes.

If this is you, PLEASE e-mail your HEX code to me. If you don't, we can't create your custom files!

It will be displayed when you install the programmer -- then you can just drop me an e-mail. You can always order custom tunes at anytime!

I never received any e-mail asking for a hex code

We always try to inform people when ordering that we need the calibration code from the vehicle in order to complete the custom tunes. Sometimes we may get sidetracked during the conversation and it doesn't get mentioned. We've recently started adding brightly colored notes to inform people that we need the calibration code but yours may have shipped just before we started doing those.

Anyway, you won't need to wait another 4 weeks. As soon as we can get the code we will expedite the files and get them to you as fast as we can.

I apologize for the confusion.

Take care.

Its okay, it was my fault, I should've read my e-mails clearly, I appreciate it and I will e-mail it in tomorrow as soon as I get to see my truck. I didn't have to do that with my mustang when i got custom tunes for it, so I didn't know I need to get the calibration code for the truck. Thanks.

This sounds more like a firmware or version number to me. You want your PCM's HEX code. The simplest way to get it is to unplug the Gryphon from the OBDII port, turn your key to ON, but not to START and then plug your Gryphon back in. Right after the splash screen, you'll see your truck's HEX code and it will tell you to hit <enter>. Write the code down before you push the <enter> button.

I think there's a way to get the unit to tell you the hex code using the menus too, but I don't remember how to do it and I'm too lazy to go get my manual.
