Pics of my Edge Programmer!

I finally got pic's of my edge programmer! It was well worth the money I spent! The increase in power with the edge compared to my Hypertech was amazing! The shifting is better and the power is phenomenal from low to high rpm's! So far I am running on level 2! Here are my custom setting's! I can't wait till I can get some 93 octane fuel so I can try out level 3! I have my edge set exactly with my GPS so the MPH is accurate! I'm not saying the 0-60 and 1/4 times are 100% accurate but here's what the edge told me!
0-60=7.55
1/4 mile=15.7 @ 89mph

Idle RPM=+60

Tire size=2322

Gear ratio=3.55

Wot shifting:
1-2=5000
2-3=5000
3-4=5000

Shift firmness
1-2=+25
2-3+25
3-4+10
Max rpm's=5400
wot fuel=+1.5

STD Shift MPH
1-2=-2
2-3=-3
3-4=-2
2-1=-2
3-2=-3
4-3=-2

Conv lock points
1st=-2
2nd=-3
3rd=-3
4th=-3

Conv unlock
1st=-2
2nd=-3
3rd=-3
4th=-3

If it's not listed then I didn't change that setting!

very nice!

those 0-60's sound about right if my gryphon/edge is accurate. with my 4.6, i was reading 61.2 at 8.34 sec. that was with my toolbox(extra 200 lbs or so) and pre-loading the TC to 1700 rpms or so. ill edit a pic in here when my phone gets done drying off. heres the only one i got now:

this is with no pre-loading, no toolbox and a 130 lb or so friend in the passenger seat. sorry bout the bad quality.

Nice! My run's were from an idle also! I would post pic's of the times but I accidentally deleted them so I gotta do another run and see if my time's will be the same! The spec's on my truck are 5.4 v8,Supercrew,2wd, 3.55 gear's and stock 255/65/17 tires and rim's! My mod's are Edge, 2.5" true dualed exhaust with modded stock intake with K&N drop in airfilter!

I would set your WOT shifts more like:
1-2: 5250
2-3: 5250
3-4: 4800

Also would bring the shift firmness down a little bit.

I'll try out those setting's! When I had my Hypertech installed I had my WOT shifting set at 5500 rpm's and the power really seemed to weeken after 5,000 rpm's so that's why I just set the Edge at 5,000! Does the firmer shift's hurt my transmission? I know i've read in other threads that increased shift firmness is actually good but it never state's whether you can actually increase the firmness too much though! Thanks for the input!

I would also bring the firmess down. To 12 for me. One other thing, if you do change the RPM shift points, be sure to change the Max RPMs as well. Keep the 400 point spread over the shift points.

one thing about the WOT shift points, i read that the torque converter starts ballooning after 5400 rpm. so i set those settings on mine but with the rev limiter at 5400 and it keeps bouncing off the rev limiter. im gonna lower the 1-2 and 2-3 to 5100 the next time i re-load the tune. until then i'm trying not to go WOT.

damn, my 0-60 was something like 12 seconds last I checked, but I was loaded down, and not on the most even pavement. I am also basically all stock, except lift and other towing/cooling mods. Can't remember my 1/4 mile time, but not something worth bragging about, thats for sure. Working with PHP to get some custom tunes, hopefulyl that'll help open her up, then I can spend more $$ on go fast mods. Cool post though, thanks for sharin your settings.

I would also move the firmness down no more then 10. I ran mine at 6.
However had PHP tune mine now and really like it even more!

Your going to LOVE lvl3!!

Thanks for the reply's! I moved the shift firmness down to +10 for every gear change! I kept the wot shift point's the same though! I just like where they shift at now it seem's to keep the gear's in the meat of the powerband cause my truck doesn't lug any until it hit's overdrive at around 115 but I don't drive that fast very much and when I do I usually leave overdrive off. I will be paying PHP a visit pretty soon for my custom tune's. I'm gonna wait till I decide to order my intake though. I'm trying to finish my exhaust first! I got my x pipe in today and plan on ordering two single in single out Super 44's or 11 maggie's I can't decide between the two though! I like the deep tone the magnaflow's have but they seem to be a little too quiet though!
