Just curious, why does it say FWHP in your sig for the Ranger?

HI!... Easy question to answer. The RANGER has never been on a dyno. Those are FORD's FWH.P #'s.

HI!... I don't consider 3800LBS light for a compact truck. Geez, my modded (for dragracing) F-150 weighed in at 3900LBS.

Ohh alright I'm used to reading FWHP as Front Wheel Horsepower, haha.

well Ford's #'s are not horsepower at the wheels.........and I think we will need to see slips to go with those times and dyno numbers. If your gonna start advertising stuff like that you better be able to include some proof for us....please and thank you!

Using this calculator from Wallace Racing http://www.wallaceracing.com/0-60_equation.php and my eighth mile figures, my 0-60 time works out at 4.19 seconds.

No, it's not stock

And before I get called out too, here's my the evidence your honor.

It's funny that we have to prove ourselves to some smucks on the internet.

Good looking and running truck Adam.

just letting everybody know, i just did a 0-60 on my 98 4.6 reg cab with my gryphon on canned tunes-towing tune with my tool box(which ways a TON) and i was running about 10 seconds. now granted that i was running the towing tune, and had the toolbox on it, but the edge's speedo is a little off(stock tire size is 235/70/16, im running 245/70/16's and the edge wont let me change it because my truck is too old) so it would actually be a bit longer time. also, i've got the gotts mod and air intake silencer removal mod. i think that high 8's would be possible with a 4.6, tuner, intake, and exhaust. but i doubt that 6's are possible with the 4.6 and an edge.

as to the 5.4, the speedo is off by like 2-3 mph from the factory. i doubt it will have a big effect, but i dont put much stock in the "stopwatch" method. if its the only thing you've got to go by, then it'll do, but i prefer using the tuner to record it. you might wanna set it back to the stock tune(if you can bear it ) and run another 0-60 on the tuner with the stock tune, just for arguement's sake.

My speedometer was calibrated by the XCAL3 for my 285's. It's accurate, I even tested it with my GPS.

ok. i forgot the new ones can be adjusted. because of the new tires, my speedo is about 1 or 2 mph fast or so, but the edge/gryphon is about 1 mph off at 60 mph. i guess its not that much, but i figured i could tell everybody all the info. nice review wilson, by the way
