Another thing to consider is that the SCT programmers will be able to be swapped over to any vehicle with a ODBII port as long as you buy new tunes. The Gryphon and Edge will not.

Well next truck i plan to buy is either the new f150 or a powerstroke so i think this just put a nail in the coffin for me as I am going to get the SCT. I was reading on troyer site and it says it comes with 3 canned tunes so does that mean i can plug it in and go? Than when i am ready get my custom tunes?

Correct. It will be the same way with anyone who you purchase it from though. I'd look into VMP considering it won't take three months. It will be more like a week.

All three of them.

PS: If you consider this us fighting over who is best than you're in for a surprise when we really fight about it.

IMO the livewire is the route to go. It costs a bit more, but you get the display, and a windsheild mount. Not the best mount, but it works.

The best reason to go with SCT is that Troyer and VMP tune them, and PHP will be by the end of the month. So you get the most options for your money.

Are you sure it can be used on ANY vehicle with an OBDII port?
