Basically plug and play.

You plug it into your ODB port, select the program you want to use, then press enter. Simple as that.

Just plug the tuner's plug into the ODBII port underneath the steering wheel below the kick panel. Once you plug it in you will turn the key on and follow the directions on the programmer. It's real easy.

It might be a good idea to see what version you have on it. Just visit www.edgeproducts.com and it will tell you how to update the version you have on it.

Thumper's dead right with this remark of course. It's what you do after you've had your Edge a bit and are comfortable with it.

But, back to the OP's question - it IS easy! But, DO read the manual first and follow the directions. It's pretty clear and will clear up any questions you might have at first. Once you get used to it, you'll be able to upload different tunes (if you want) in a matter of minutes. The process is something my 10-year old Grandson could do.

thanks guys, do you think $275 is a good price for a slightly used edge tuner. Is it worth it.

If mine went out and I had to buy another at the retail price, I would. Best thing I have done to my truck. After playing with it for awhile though, I would send it to PHP and get it converted to a Gryphon with custom tunes.
