XCAL3 Redline raise.

I've got an XCAL 3 with Troyer tunes, I was just wondering if it was possible to raise the redline of my truck, or shift point? I don't want to do it, I was just wondering, because I saw a video of an F150 shifting at 5800 RPM with only a chip intake and exhaust, thought it was weird.

well i know that my truck is rev limited to 5800, and once i get above 5200, the shift shock gives you whiplash...

There was a post, from Mike Troyer I think, a long time ago that said above 5400 rpm you start to get torque converter ballooning. Somehow, that effect doesn't sound good for the torque converter to me. I limit my max rpm to below 5400.

Yeah I've read about that too, just curious as to why this guy's F150 revs so high, haha.
