Who makes the best canned tunes, I tow, and am going to add an s&B intake and a simple mgnaflow muffler to my stock exhuast pipe. I will probably never go any farther than that.

You already went to far with the intake; custom tunes for you.

custom tunes are always your best bet, and don't cost much more then canned tunes, if any. I would look around the Chips/Tuners section, read what others say, and go from there. The big names around here would be

Troyer Performance

VMP tuning

And PHP tuning, using the Gryphon (similiar to an "Edge" but custom tunes)

Like the Suzuki guy said, you already do not have the stock settings, and that is what the canned tunes are for. Get a specific tune, for your exact situation, for your exact truck, with custom tunes. Can't go wrong.

I agree. You might can get by with the intake, but I would not risk it. The canned tunes are written for stock intakes. The custom tunes get so much more out of the engine.

I think that particular setup may work with Superchips; but I do not know for sure and like other people have said custom tunes are the best.

Top quality ? Yes . Best ? Who's to say ?

I personally will be going with PHP, but I have also called each Tuner I listed individually, and made decisions based on that. Please allow others to do so.
I think this would be the best route for anyone interested in custom tunes. Also look around locally, a lot of places are opening up, and they will have a Dyno in their shop. It is always better to get custom tunes, in person, on the dyno vs. e-mail.
