Edge-correcting tire size
You're confusing me.
Decide what level you want to run. say level 2, turn key on, select level 2. change each setting you want to change and then as a last selection, you choose "done". turn key off. when it tell you turn it back on.
now, every time you go into a level and if you do not tell it to save the previous settings, you will have to reenter each item you want to change.

All I was trying to do was set the tire size for both Levels, So that when they are used the tire size is already set up.
At what point does it say "save previous settings". I havent run across that. Which means that may be why my tire settings are not getting set.
Sorry for the confusion.

let me see if I can find the "save" menu item in the instructions

Ok, nothing in the instructions. But, when you go into Power Programming, say level 2, there is all the items you can set. Timing, Fuel, Gears, etc. Just keep hitting the down arrow till you get to the last one. It is some nomenclature that indicates your setting will be saved. You select it, hit enter, then you can go to only the items you want to modify and you don't have to reset each item.

You have to hit done to tell it you are through. That is the last one you hit. If you don't hit done, nothing you did is saved.

Screwdude, I also have 275/65R18 tires with a 3.73 axle. I've been using 2481 for a tire circumference and it seems to be "very" accurate. The factory speedo is 2mph fast at 75 but the Gryphon/Edge is correct and the odometer seems correct. I've checed mine with those radar signs, my handheld GPS and the old-fashoned way of dividing distance by time. All three methods agree. My tire pressure is 40psi.
As I recall, before I got my custom Gryphon tune, the default tire size it wanted to put into the PCM was 2356 also. Maybe this is a "stock" tire on some f150 models.
I'd go with the "calculated" 3% value as a start. Check the speed and adjust from there.

So, by running the 2356 that is loaded currently in the edge, I am actually showing less than actual speed on the speedo and my odo is reading slower than actual?
Is that correct or am I indicating too high right now, and racking up too many miles?
Thanks!
I have the 275/65/18 as well and have not corrected it in the edge...

We both drive one (true) mile, side by side. Our wheels each turn the same number of rotations in this distance (if we have the same gear ratios and the same tires). My odometer says I drove one mile (if my settings are correct). Since your PCM "thinks" you've gone about 95% less distance in these same number of rotations, your odometer records 0.95 miles for that number of rotations. And, since you are seemingly moving a shorter distance for the same number of rotations in the same time interval, your speedometer will say you are moving slower than my speedometer.
So, I'd have to say your speedo is reading about 5% slow and the odometer is recording about 5% less distance than you are actually driving (if my circumference is correct). But, if we both drive at 75mph indicated on our speedometers, you will be driving faster than me and will travel farther in the same time. You are more likely to get a ticket if we are both indicating say, 10mph above the legal speed.
The GOOD news is, if you increase your tire circumference to my figure, your gas mileage will improve about 5%!
(You go further per revolution). The bad news, of course, is if you do this you will be increasing the miles on your odo by about 5%, and you will "rack up more miles" for every trip you take.

The reality is, 5% is only about a 3.75 mph error at 75 true mph. And, 5% of 1000 miles adds only 50 miles to your odometer.
So, is this something that's important to you? Since I'm an engineer, and a bit "****" about these things, it was to me. :o
(Other inaccuracies, like when I dreamed up a parody of a song in another thread, didn't seem critical at the time). I.ride.suzuki caught me on that and now I have to live with it. :o
Hope the explanation makes sense!
