Thanks To Troyer Performance

I received my custom tunes from today & loaded them along with some help from Chris at SCT. The shifts are not as harsh as I was lead to believe from others complaining about them but everybody has their own opinion. The truck performs better than ever and guess what NO more drone from intake(I'm keeping my fingers crossed). Overall I am satisfied with my decision to go with Mike & his gang & will continue to support them in the future!

But - you don't have Thumper as your "best friend"!

Seriously though, I'm delighted when I see unsolicited kudo's for any of the people who write the tunes for our trucks. It simply reinforces my feeling that you get a quality product when you go with any of the tuning experts we like to talk about in this forum.

I've been running Troyer Performance tunes for over 3 years now on my 2005 King Ranch. I've been nothing but pleased with how my truck performs and the overall feel.

There are lots of tuner options out there but, in my book, there's really only one... Troyer Performance.

Sweet, it feels like a whole new truck doesn't it? Any other mods planned? What are your current mods? I had the same problem. I had an Edge and S&B cold air intake. I was getting a ton of droning around 1700-1900 RPMs but with the custom tunes it went completely away.

I'll just say we are all entitled to our opinions. I'm a big supporter of VMP Tuning, if you haven't noticed, but even I'm able to admit that there are other good options out there.

As someone who's switched back and forth several times between the stock and Troyer tunes due to dealer visits, I can't live with the stock performance.

The dead-on shifts and throttle response are too sweet to do without.

My brother-in-law drove my truck last weekend for the first time since I've had the tunes... His first comment was, "it gets to 50 TOO FAST!".. LOL

That's not how it works ... I'll be your friend and I'll even advertise it for everyone to see but there is that small fee.

Those aren't apart of the standard package anymore. If you want to upgrade to the premium package, they come "free".

I 2nd that everyone is entitled to their own opinions & I actually am thinking about buying a Vmp tune just to see so I can have my own opinion too. As far as current mods I have the roush off-road & cai. I thought about getting underdrive pullies or efans but I need new brakes and would like to upgrade my shocks to the 5100's so those will have to wait for now. Oh and thump how much is the platinum package

Well if you're buying a VMP Tune, I'll hook you up.

As far as the UDPs and E-Fans go, they'd be a great mod. Brakes are important, too. I'd recommend Powerslots, Hawk pads, and a better grade brake fluid. I think you'll be amazed at how much braking will be improved. The best place to buy them is TireRack.com and AutoAnything.com The Bilstein 5100s are also a great shock. I don't think they can be beat for the money.
