u have 3 pre programmed tunes right?

level 1- just shift firmness i believe
level 2- power and shift firmness (safe on 87 octane)
level 3- 93 octane performance and shift firmness

not 100% sure as i got rid of my edge after a couple weeks because i hated it. but it should say next to each level what it is.

Bigbear - Levels 1 and 2 are both 87 octane tunes. As the previous post stated, level 1 just firms up your shifts - pretty much a waste of time in my book; but, you can access the custom menu here and adjust things like standard and WOT shift points, WOT fuel, etc.

Level 2 is the one you want to use for towing. Again, you can still "customize" it to an extent and change other things as discussed for level 1.

Level 3 is a performance tune. Use it IF you are using 91 octane gas AND NOT towing. Do not use this as a towing tune (unless you're pulling something very light).

It almost sounds like you don't have a manual. You can download one from here: http://www.edgeproducts.com/installa...structions.php It says it's installation instructions, but it's the user manual too.

When you really want to wake up your truck and have fun, talk to Bill Cohron at www.powerhungryperformance.com about trading in your Edge for a Gryphon and custom tunes, instead of the "canned" tunes you have.

Welcome to the forum!
