2008 Limited with Tuner

Since the limited is all wheel drive, does this have any effect on how it's custom tuned?

Part time vs. full time t-case.

I'm no expert, but I really don't think that would have anything to do with a tune.

Well the PCM inputs are controlled via the tune. 4x4 Low Switch and a Transfer case switch. 4x4 Low has a whole different driver demand table or what controls the pedal feel. The AWD Full-time t-case does not have 4x4 Low; but you can lock it into 4 High.

It's full time all wheel drive and you can switch into 4wd high.

Looking to buy a tuner, just didn't want to get disappointed if awd is an issue.

So how would a tuner affect an AWD and not an FX4?

Not trying to start an argument, just wondering as I am in the market for a tuner myself.

You're all probably putting this question to the wrong people. Ask the tuners!

If you have AWD, can they tune for it? My guess is, YES, but I certainly don't know for sure.

If it's part time 4WD, who cares? You're not going to have a tune that you load every time you slip it into 4WD.

So, call Bill at PHP, Justin at VMP, or Mike at TP and learn what you need to know.

As far as I know it shouldn't effect any of the tuning but hopefully Justin will chime in on this to confirm.

Basically, there should be no difference, but I can verify if you send me your computer code.

It's OK - he's asking a perfectly good question. Stupid people never ask questions! Your Dad's obviously not in the "stupid group". How do you ever learn anything if you don't ask?
