Anyone want to buy anything from me? I'm selling a bridge that goes across the Atlantic Ocean? I accept PayPal.

Back to the OP's question:

This whole flippin forum is essentially about your question. We each think our guy's the best and have said why. It's very easy to look through some of the threads and get a sense of why we think so.

But, if that is not your style, just go with any of the "Big Three" (presented in alphabetical order, which puts my choice at the top ):
Bill Cohron at www.powerhungryperformance.com
Justin Starkey at www.vmptuning.com
Mike Troyer at www.troyerperformance.com
Find out what you get for your money and then make an informed choice!

- Jack

I've had an Edge, Troyer mail tunes, and now VMP dyno tunes. I like my VMP ones the best.

Yes! A dyno tune anywhere is the best option.

I used to run the edge but now have custom tunes from Troyer Performance and they are "da bomb."

yea, i guess it really just depends on who is custom tuning your vehicle.because normally the best programmers all do the same stuff and its up to the tuners..

I went with PHP, but I'm sure Justin's are just as good, but I liked the gauges, and the Livewire was just too big and $$$$. The best is any of the above, with a live dyno tune, it will be the best period. I will end up with my SCT files in my Gryphon, so I can keep the gauges, but get the custom tunes by locals.

So, is my hypertech programmer from 2005 outdated? are there 'better' ones?
