I was wondering what the mpg gains would be if i got an economy tune from bill?
i have a little money saved and i was suposed to go get my windows tinted today but im thinking i should just save it for a tuner

I'll let you know when I get mine and drive it enough to find out.
I do know that using the "canned" 87 octane tow tune gave me about 2mpg better than stock while towing and then Bill's custom towing tune improved that by at least 0.7 mpg.
Right now, using that towing tune and NOT pulling the trailer, I get in the low to mid 15s.

If you're doing mostly city driving, I doubt you'll get mileage like mine. The 15s was for combined city/highway driving and here in Tucson, the traffic lights are generally a mile apart and the city speed limits are 40-45. (Or at least that's how fast people drive, regardless of the speed limit)!

I talked to cory the other day and she told me that there is almost no diffrence in the eco tune an a perf tune... just a diffrent shift pattern... im just going with a perf tunes.... and that what id say to do for you.
We just bought a 2005 Expedition on Friday (my biggest birthday present!), and it has the same engine and drivetrain as a 2WD 5.4L F-150. Bill programmed the computer yesterday morning, and we're now averaging 16.2 mpg, according to the vehicle's computer. Woo hoo! I'll post pictures after we have the signage done on the back windows. The company who does our banners says there's a cool mesh-like covering that looks monochrome from inside for driving but can have whatever we'd like on the outside. I'm heading over tomorrow to check it out. Life is good.

Wow. So I am getting 16.5 city driving on my 06 4.6. I know I can get better because I have been a little foot happy at stop lights. How Bill wakes these trucks up is incredible. I have only tested 87 performance so far but will report back on other tunes. PHP thank you so much.

I have the 5.4l and I ran Bills 87 performance tune and my average for the complete tank was 15.7 mpg. Thats including the first week I recieved the tune, with 80+ degree weather I had the A/C blowing, all my red light racing, aaaand 20's with 33's.
not bad IMO!

Bill is also known as ASEMechanic on these forums. In addition to the jobs that bangingd pointed out that he does for Corey, he is also the Father of their two boys. The man has many talents!
