When you order it, it comes to you with canned tunes. Tunes that are like "one size fits all". You get a certificate that entitles you to 3 custom tunes with the purchase. After playing with the canned tunes and deciding what other mods you will make, you call Bill and discuss what custom tunes you want him to send you. He writes them and emails them to you. They are then downloaded into your Gryphon and take the place of the canned tunes. They are awesome!

Give Bill a call and he will answer all of your questions. I noticed your are in Ga. You might be close enough to possibly set up a live dyno tune if you choose.

The Grypon as it is shipped to you(before you receive the custom tunes) is basically the same as the Edge Evolution. They both come with canned, off the shelf tunes. Probably even the same tunes. The big difference is that the Gryphon offers you the custom tunes which Edge does not. That is why the Gryphon costs a little more than the Edge. Also, if you are considering an aftermarket intake, the custom tuned Gryphon is the only way to go, as the canned tunes are written for a stock engine. Plus, with the custom tunes, Bill improves the down shifting and gets a little more HP out of the tune.

Thanks for jumping in there, Everyone! It's been a crazy day -- last day of the sale and all. We even ran out of programmers and had to place an order with Edge!

Joe, everyone who's answered is correct, but if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call. We'll be happy to help you any way we can!

Can you forward that e-mail over to me? Bill's working on 18 different projects (as usual!) and is getting backed up on his e-mail. Thanks!

We're 8 miles (and two stop lights!) off I-85 between Commerce and Atlanta. Come see us at the Atlanta Dragway in September!

Hi there,

Below are two events that we'll be at in September. (We're also going to be closed the entire week of September 7th!) We would LOVE to meet our forum friends in person! BTW, we didn't post it on here since it doesn't apply to F-150s, but Power Hungry Performance and the Gryphon have been chosen as the official programmer of the NADM.

Thank you for the kind words! A customer of our encountered a problem yesterday -- turned out he'd bought a truck that had already been programmed! Bill spent, literally, hours yesterday writing him a new program to return his truck back to stock so that the programmer would work. Please know that I'm not touting PHP's customer service! I'm just really lucky and proud to be married to (and work with) someone who cares about other people. He could have easily told him to take it back to the dealer and get it reflashed back to stock. It just made my heart happy.

Have a wonderfully awesome day!
