I have been reading everyone's opinions and I think I am going to go with the Xcal tuner. Here's the dumb question. What is the difference in the stock tunes and custom tunes. It claims to come with 3 dyno tunes and 3 custom tunes. What is it referring too? Do they ask me questions about my driving habits and create custom tunes for me?? Thanks.

 

The stock tunes are tunes that can be used with any F150 that the tuner was made for. The custom tunes are just that, custom made for just your truck. They wouldn't work with any other truck.

 

From speaking with others custom tuning helps out if you have added anything like a cai, cat-back exhaust, e-fans, and so forth. The truck will make the most power safely out of added on mods.
