Hypertech Power Programmer III

so i was looking at a Power Programmer III for my 98 f150 4.2 v6...
i found a cheap cheap one for sale...

anyone know if it offers both tunes for regular and premium octane gas tunes? or just premium?
i know some models do but it doesn't say if the 4.2 version does 100%.
the graph example it has says the tuner has 1 performance premium tune in the notes.

last thing i want to do is run a premium tune on 87 octane gas to cause pinging and so forth. but the owner is telling me he used it on regular 87 octane gas with improvements and no pinging, but i don't just want to take comments in case he just wants a quick sale.

can some one share their thoughts...

Get custom tuning, that’s the way to go no matter what; the hypertech is questionable

A miracle! The Eighth Wonder of the World! This thread should become a "sticky".
