I just sent it in for update, & just got it back & when I punch it @ 5000 rpm it still kills motor out, should rev to 5200, Cause I called them, now what do I have to send it back again?

 

You did select to raise the speed limiter, and rev limiter correct?

I have the 1714, and am using it again since converting my Xcal to the mustang.


I have never had any issues with this tuner!

 

I am not even going to awnser that. What rpm can run yours to ?

 

If im not mistaking the 1714 I usually shift around 52-5300, with the X-Cal I was running up to 5500.

What do you have your shift points set at?

 

Mine shifts at same rpm as stock, it should be at 5200 like you said, I had one of these in another truck, & it wouldnt spit & sputter until 5250 or so. I dont know where I have them sey at, I will go into options & see.
