Thanks.
I have a hypertech max energy programmer on my 04 F150 5.4. I know your asking about the e-con which the two look almost alike and i'm not sure what the differences are but I gained around 1-2 more mpg with mine if I drive conservative but I bought mine for the extra performance and not fuel mileage! Like Thumper said if all you want it for is to increase fuel mileage then it will take a long time for it to pay for itself if all you want is an increase in fuel mileage cause you'll have to drive at a snail's pace in order to really see any gain's in fuel mileage if any at all!

The truth is that you can gain 1-2 MPG by just driving conservative, or at a "snail's pace", with a stock tune.

You don't need a tune if you can slow yourself down.
