power hungry-wow

i ordered a gryphon from bill near the beginning of availability,it took a while to get my custom tunes, with a few minor hiccups along the way.that being said, when i did finally install the tuner on my 07 f150 everything bill had done was absolutely perfect.i was amazed at how much smoother the engine ran.shifts are firm, responsive, predictable and timed perfectly.on all power levels driveability is perfect.my favorite is performance 91 octane.0 to 60 times have dropped dramaticly.bills customer service is second to none.i have called him at some pretty terrible times of the day and he has always made the time to help...no matter what.my truck now drives so much better than factory i will probably keep it forever.if there has ever been a question on whether or not to buy a tuner , i certainly would never give mine up and cannot say enough good about bill and corey.just plain the best.

I experienced all of the same. Can not imagine my truck without a tuner. All you said about Bill and Corey is also true.

We're so glad that Bill's custom tuning is working so well for you! And thank you for the kind words! It's always nice to hear when we've done a good job.

I would have to agree with the above. I just got my tunes this weekend and with limited playing time there is a big gap between stock, canned tunes from the tuner, and the new tunes from PHP. They are worth the money and wait time.

Both of them are great aren't they? Somehow, when you talk to Bill or Corey, you get the feeling they care! I suspect this is a business model that more American companies should adopt. Maybe if they did, we could get back on top in the world market.

I recall a story I heard once about Xerox, who makes very good copy machines (invented the modern process of course) but after many years of success, they noticed their business was declining. Turned out, nothing was wrong with their product, it was just that their customer service was poor. Someone had a problem? Might take 3 or 4 days to fix it. Other copier manufacturers worked faster than that. According to this story, Xerox put the customer's needs first again, and business picked up.

Kind of makes me think of how some products are built so well, that you still use the first one that you bought. Then the manufacturer wonders why sales are slowing. Because you haven't needed to replace the original yet. I still have a HP computer that is almost 10 years old, running with an old operating system, but it still runs fine.....does what I need it to do. By the time I get my next computer, Vistas will be a thing of the past. Even with my new truck: it replaced a truck I've had since 1986. I plan on driving this one for 20+ years too. I won't be buying a new truck every 3-5 years, because I don't need it.
