a lot of the dumb*** people that smash and grab stuff, tend to grab things they dont understand. if they were actually intelligent, they would have a good enough job to afford their own sh*t. my edge is on my dash. its not really hidden, it blends in pretty nice. looks stock. but im not worried about it. sh*t happens.

Great idea but here's a big problem, they'd have your stock tune on the programmer. I don't think they'd give it back once they figured out it didn't work. So you'd really be up river without a paddle ...

Good points made.. I'm going to keep mine in the truck from now on. Ill look tomorrow and see if theres room in the jack compartment. and maybe put it in a Crown Royal bag or something to keep it protected from scratches

For those of you who don't have such a bag handy, now is a good time to buy a bottle of Crown Royal, then drink it, so that you can have the bag.

I keep a pair of old WORKBOOTS in my truck, to hide my valuables in. That way, crackhead thieves and welfare ****** won't touch anything inside the boots

You need to move on up, to the East Side, to a deluxe apartment in the sky, and finally get a piece of that pie.

I knew i was opening myself up for that arguement!

I'll open with another arguementative statement...
Since the tuners have serial numbers etc. why not report to the tuner or MFG. when its stolen that way when your stolen tuner finally emerges in some unexpecting guys hands they are unable to unlock it because it was reported stolen.. and then the police would have a lead to track down its path??
and... yeeesssss..... unfortunately I understand we don't live in this perfect world I'm describing..

luckily my insurance covers anything inside my truck just as long as i have a receipt....even though i would need to foot the bill to have my onboard computer flashed.

See that's what I used to do but than I kept forgetting to put it in the car before I went to VMP. It sucked having to drive back and forth. Not to mention it's nice to be able to change tunes.
