The CHT was not broke-therefore-the replacement I put in per the dealer recommendation, is not broke as well, and its still FUBAR.

I'm anxiously awaiting your results as well, because most likely, they are my results too.

Unlike you, I am off warranty, and can't afford to put the dealership on the payroll-so I do my own diagnosis, then have them do the work if I cant.

$100 bucks says they want to replace your cluster....

Just wanted to give an update. Got my truck back yesterday and it seems to be running great so far. The CHT was bad and said they replaced the thermostat because it wasnt working right.

If they would of replaced the CHT when this first happened I would of got my truck back much sooner!

When they changed the plugs they broke 2 or was 3 plugs in the heads and was able to get them out. This plug thing on the new trucks is just crazy! I had them save my old plugs and can post pics if anyone would like to see what they look like LMK.

Also since they put in a new PCM my remore starter wont work so thinking I will need to reprogram the starter. They gave me a new key also since they put in a new PCM.

I find it weird that people on this site have always been scared of the plugs like it was the Black Plague. However all of the Mustang guys never have problems and they use the 3V heads and same type of plugs, too.

Maybe all the mustang owners are MUCH smarter then the F150 owners?
I think the post in the engine forums speaks for it self. I mean if a Ford service Tech cant pull plugs out of the F150 without breaking them says something about them. I talked with the tech and said its pretty common on the newer F150s. Sorry didnt ask him about mustangs plugs.

I wasn't trying to be a **** but in all reality spark plugs problem in the Mustang scene is a small amount. I've spoke to a lot of dealers around here who have pulled plugs and haven't had problems. Not saying that it doesn't happen but I don't think it's as big as a problem as some people make it out to be.
