mpg results for stock vs perf 87 tp tune

yes i know i'm only testing one tank of gas each way-but thought i'd share this as there has been many ?'s on mpg tunes and i thought i'd share-first off i reset my van's pcm back to stock ran a tank of gas-all city driving-reflashed back to 87 perf -then ran a tank-both fillups were at same station within 4 days of each other,tp's 87 perf tune was a 2.1 mpg improvement, same driving style-that stock tune made my 9000lb van seem undriveable-phil

I've got the e350/V10. Nice monster. Love to get a tune for it. Anything special about what you've got in the tune?

I've thought about UDP's and maybe efans, but I am *afraid* of cutting to close to the margin of safety with the big V10. That thing heats up fast and gets quite hot.

Have you had any over heating issues with the UD's on a big van?

my pcm code is noted in the sd's for staying in openloop for a long time ,sometimes not hitting closed loop
