Oh i wouldnt doubt it, but AF1 doesnt have the coverage, or the legality in CARB states that K&N does. I also dont think the minimal difference in power is worth 300 bucks to change. Just my .02

Which K&N was it? The silver tube (77 series) or the plastic tube (57 series)?

Well since i live in a CARB state, i have to be a little biased, seeing as the AF1 and S&B are illegal here. I'm not sticking to my guns, if i didnt live in CA i would probably have a 3" AF1. My point is that if you already have the K&N, and looking at the price on other intakes its not worth changing.

I'm not argueing that, it's exactly why I said I'd consider it down the line. Keep in mind you'd be able to sell your intake very easily on the internet and recoup a lot of your money. Also the difference between the 3.5" and 3.0" is minimal ..

Well yes and no. Bill at PHP tunes the Gryphon which is exactly like the Edge but it's just re-labeled. So you'd have to send in your Edge and he'll send you back a Gryphon. It's a lot cheaper than having to buy a whole Gryphon without sending in the Edge, I believe. I know it's $495 without sending in an Edge.
