Any Gryphon Advantages over Xcal2?
I have an Xcal2 bought and paid for since late 2006. I've used it on two trucks. I can't help but really like the display on the dash the Gryphon offers, but I already have a ScangaugeII. I have received a 3" AF1 for my new 2008 Supercrew and the MPRP SIDO is on it's way. I will be waiting for Troyer tunes after I can finally get them the strategy and PCM code of my truck that is sitting in the mixing yard so close to me I can smell it, but can't touch it. I'm thinking that by the time Troyer receives my data, they'll be down to four weeks.
Anyway, I was considering getting a tune or two from Justin to get me by on my impatient wait as I see his tunes kick kiester.
I'm hoping he can give me a real good tune to support some economy while giving some performance. With that said, $50 to $100 is cheaper than the Gryphon, but am I missing someting else it offers I am not seeing? Thanks,
Smoke

I need help.
Sounds like you've got it in order. If you have a scangauge and xcal2, there really are no advantages to spending another 500+ on a gryphon.
If you do get a VMP tune, it should should hold you over until Troyer's tunes get there.

With the XCal you have the option of getting custom tunes from several different tuners. And if you end up being a picky little tune ***** like me you will appreciate that. I have all mine in a file called 'my bizzos'.
