I'm looking at getting a tuner from VMP but I have just over 70,000 miles on my truck...is it too late? is it ever too late to tune your truck?

I have 69,500 on mine and have had a tuner for about 39,000 miles. If I did not have one already, there is no reason I can see for not getting one. I just recently got custom tunes for my Edge. A tuner will wake your truck up!

If BlueJay ordered one at his age than it's never too late ...

My troyer tunes went onto my truck @ 74k and it feels like brand new. My truck runs a hell of a lot better than my dads 2008 F150 KR with only 4k miles on it.

My buddy just got his troyer tunes in his 99 f150, with 150k+ on the odo.

Good Point! But, Jack (JackandJanet) has one and he is older than I am! He may not go racing with his though, I don't know.

I was "sort of" racing today, coming home from the Nature Conservancy preserve where we do volunteer work. There was a couple of lines of Sunday drivers on highway 83. I put my foot down and sort of blew them off the road.

Anybody on these forums want to own up to being, *ahem*, more "experienced" than Bluejay and me?

- Jack
