gryphon/intake

i ordered a gryphon and can't wait till it comes, but i've been thinking about gettin an intake, i've got an aem dry flow drop in, its alot better than the regular filter. for those with gryphon does the intake really help? is the air hotter according to gryphon intake air temp than with stock box? is it worth it to get the intake and wait to get the custom tunes, or should i keep the stock box and just get the tunes. if i do get an intake it will be a brute force from aem
i would think it would be hotter even with the shield when in city because it just sucks in the warm air from the engine, my driving is 50%highway 50%city. what do you guys think, thanks

I would like to know also. I ordered my intake and custom tunes to go with it and am waiting for them both.

My ScanGauge II shows that my intake temps are lower with a CAI.
