Troyer tuning ??'s
what exactly does troyer do to custom tune your truck, i went to thier website and all i saw was that they sell superchips and other performance parts. since their located somewhere in VA and im in tennessee, how exactly am i goin to get a custom tune by them? this may be a stupid question but i dont know a lot about this kind of thing. i would really appreciate some help here!

Not sure of all the nitty gritty details but basically they change some parameters in the motors computer to get more power/torque etc.. over the stock settings. You fill out a datasheet on your truck, pretty straight forward and fax it to them. When the tunes are ready they email them to you, then you just load the tunes into the programmer of your choice Xcal, Edge etc.. then upload it to the motors computer. Mike either has "inside knowledge" of how Ford programs these trucks or else he's hacked all their stuff.. LOL.. Or maybe it's just many years of experience.. He seems to know the proper way to make the most performance, and safely, and it's pretty impressive. Yeah it's a longish wait, but worth it I think.
No offense to any other custom tuners here at all, but I'd not trade my TP tunes for anything..
Well, maybe I'd trade for a blown Harley if anyone's interested.. LOL
