Clear.
Reason: You can EASILY paint the interior of the case any color you wish and it would be a nice gloss finish. You just have to be sure on your color choice. (As long as warranty on hardware was not changed if opened)

Ya know i like that idea too.... As long as warranty on hardware was not changed if opened.. but good idea, i didn't think of that
You're not a loner! Look toward the top of the thread! Now, if you gentlemen are willing to purchase 500 (the minimum we can purchase of any one color) of these lovely yellow injection molded cases, we may have a deal.
hmmm well they DID make 500 boss 5.4's in yellow sooooo that MIGHT work lol....
i'd go with black with the initial order and just see how many people are interested...besides me

I'm very happy with the "satin black" case my Gryphon came in. It seems to match my instrument panel better than the two-tone Edge case.
If you're in to circuit boards, clear is OK, but it really wouldn't go with any of our trucks, would it?
But as "I Ride" suggested, it's just "paint"! If opening and painting would not void the warranty, that would be good too. Then, everyone could have their choice.
My guess though is, opening is probably not a good idea if the unit is under warrenty.

I don't know,I just really like the grey and black but for obvious reasons, thats not possible but black is so plain but it goes with everything and looks good so I guess black. It would be cool to throw in some carbon fiber trim or chrome trim on the black to break it up but I don't know how costly that would be?
I'd prefer black over clear.
The problem with clear is when you paint it on the inside, the outside will give it a glossy look. I don't think the glossy color would match the interior panels. The panels are a flat color. that's why I would choose a flat black
