Quick "edge" help !

Hey guys, is there somewhere I can download/read the Edge instructions ??

My friend got a new truck, already lifted (Fabtech 6" DL all around.... but 2wd !! ) And she has the Edge pod on it. She doesn't know anything about trucks/cars so I am going to be helping her out and working on it quite often. And to tell you the truth, I really don't know much about the Edge. heck, I haven't even touched it or tried playing around with it yet. Trying to learn as much as I can about the little pod.

Thing like changing Odometer and Speedo for correct tire size and what not.

Does it clear trouble codes ?

Thanks guys. I started using the search but was going through a ton of useless BS and I really have that kinda time to keep going right now. I'll keep at it tonight, but any quick input is appreciated ! Thanks

I'm pretty sure you can download or at least read the manual at Edge's website.

Looks like Edge should maybe work a little harder on (or hire a better webmaster for) their documentation.

Could be. But I still get some kind of error in Adobe Reader about expecting a "dict" object - whatever that is.

Maybe I should try using IE or Firefox instead of Netscape. Trouble is, I prefer Netscape (call me stubborn).

OK, Jack you're stubborn. Firefox will have new version release in June[so they say], i've been using the beta for 6 months, its got some neat things. -ron

Alright, tried reprogramming to correct the tire size. This unit has been on there awhile, she bought it used and already installed. Its set on LEVEL 3.

Tried changing the tune, none of them worked. Once it asked you to turn off the key, I would, then the Edge would sit there a moment and finally read d1 error code. It said something about not being able to connect ? But all the plugs/wires are in good shape and properly installed.

Any advice ?

Try unplugging turn key on and re plug in. You should connect the plug under dash with the key in the on position and truck not running. Sounds like a possible communication error.
