There is a difference. The Edge has their canned programs. The Gryphon has Bill's custom programs as ordered for your truck.

Ya, true. Sorry I meant hardware- not software. I have a "Bill Tuned Edge" and LOVE it..

Sorry guys but I agree with openclasspro here. I spent countless hours on the phone with Edge trying to fix my driveability problems.

Just what were your problems, I have always wondered what makes you bad mouth the edge?

thumper calls it like it is as well- sometimes we can be brutally honest and that doesn't fit well with others

I'm not bad mouthing the Edge, I'm just saying it didn't have enough testing. It's hard to create a canned tuner because you've got to tune for a WHOLE bunch of calibrations. But regardless, I had a HORRIBLE problem with the TC unlocking and locking up continuously on the highway at 67-72 mph. I had a shutter that couldn't be fixed. I had a off idle hesitation that couldn't be fixed. Driveability was worse than stock, IMO. Shifts were funky on "stock" Edge settings. As well as a horrible drone from my air intake but I can't blame that on the Edge.
