Honestly though guys, when you buy a programmer and something bad happens, lol the first thing that comes to mind is programmer, void warranty, death and destruction, etc. It's hard not to jump to conclusions when you don't know a lot about what's happening.

The only way the Edge could possibly drain your battery is if it is left on.(you have the menu on and shut down the rig the Edge stays on.) I am pretty sure this could not possibly be the Edge draining your battery. Do you have an amp hooked up? If so check the remote wire.

That's why people should research their buys first before they purchase. I knew just about all I needed to know about the Edge Evolution prior to purchasing one.
