I was really an *** back then, it suprised me that mike would even talk to me. But like I said, he's a classy guy and even though the waits are long, they are well worth it. Does he still post here?

You're making a wise decision to go with Troyer, a decision you won't regret!

Here's another vote for Troyer's tuning.. the only mods I'd made to the truck before the tunes were a cat-back exhuast and an AF1 intake. Both of those made a noticable difference, nothing huge at all, but Troyer's tune made it a completley different truck. HUGE difference!

Yes it took exactly 8 weeks to get the Xcal 2 with the tunes, just as they told me it probably would. But then again, what's the hurry? I was confident that not only was tuning for F150's what he specialized in but that his rep for the tunes was excellent. And I can say that the customer service is top-notch.

These are pickup trucks, not racers.. if I needed quick from day one I'd have bought a Mustang GT and just fuggedaboutit.. LOL

Oh, and the other thing I like about the Xcal 2, as opposed to say the Edge Evo or similar devices is that I, not being any sort of expert in safely modifying the programming on these engines, is that there aren't a bunch of options to **** around with, i.e., messing with the spark, timing, other ratios. Because if they WERE there, I'd sure play around and just end up screwing things up. And joining all the other posts you see on here about "why don't it work so good when I advance my spark +3??".. LOL
