i've had the edge evo on my 04 screw for about a month now and everything has been fine until today when i got my aem brute force cai in and installed it. the truck seemed to run good at first but i just went and changed the tire size and drove it around a little and it was acting all weird. u seem to be the man to fix all probs w/the edge so im hopin u can help me out. all mods i have are: cold air, flow 40 series, 2 1/2 ncd leveling kit w/ 325/60/18 toyo at. if u need anymore info just let me know.

What do you mean by acting all weird? When you change the tire size it will affect shift points.

Yeah... I need you to elaborate on "acting wierd". Doesn't shift right? No throttle response? Down on power?

Let me know.

the throttle response was definetly worse and it sounds like it is bogged down. like when i first put it on the cold air would really scream when i got on it but then later it sounded like muffled or somethin and it just wasnt the same and the whole sound of it is like it just puttin along. and once when i gave it gas it felt like it was gonna die, just totally gave out for a sec then went. hope that helps, its just hard to explain.

Maybe the CAI worked loose and there is a vacuum leak? I had this happen once and had similar symptoms.

Did the issue start exactly when you changed tire size?

I would change tire size back and see if issue goes away. If it does not this would eliminate this as an issue. If it is still there I would check CAI connections and MAF for leaks and loose connection.

Check and see if there are any DTCs stored. Go to the main menu, select [Diagnostcs] and the [Read Diagnostic Codes]. Let me know if you find anything.

Get ahold of Bill at www.powerhungryperformance.com. He will take good care of you. Not sure if it is ok to discuss pricing on the boards. Bill is also ASEMECHANIC above.

When did you try to e-mail? I had a server failure about a 6-8 weeks ago and my main server was down for about a month so any e-mails between about Dec. 15th and Jan. 15th are lost in cyberspace somewhere. Since then, every e-mail has been responded to. I am also certainly happy to take phone calls.

Take care.

Bill
