Cold temps vs EVO
Cold temps vs EVO
Didn't see any threads on a Evo in cold temps.
If I don't drive my truck for a week and it doesn't get any warmer then lets say 20, will the Evo have any issues when I go to drive it? Like any computer in the cold, it responds a little slower so I wonder if this is a situation that causes problems? Or is it proven in the cold too?

I have noticed a few glitches in the EDGE in the cold weather.
1. If it is below 10 degrees here in Missouri the EDGE will sometimes come on (backlight), but not show anything on the screen. Kind of like the LCD is frozen or something.
2. Additionally, sometimes in the cold weather the EDGE will not come on at all. But this is easily fixed by unplugging and plugging it back in.
The good thing is that is has never lasted more than a few minutes and never at all affected the actual tuning of the truck. But like you said, it is a computer screen and the freezing weather HAS to affect it in some way. My truck never sees the garage in the almost 2 years I have had the EDGE, and this has only happened 4 times if my memory serves me correct.
