edge 87oct - 93 oct differences

i was just wondering what r the specific differences between these tunes... i was wondering if your running on 87oct gas, can you just run the 93 tune but just bump the timing down or are there other factors involved here?

if your going to turn the timing down on the 93 octane tune then you might as well just run the 87 octane tune. your losing the benefit by taking out timing and you dont even know exactly how much timing to pull

There are some major differences. level 2 provides a lot more low end torque and fades at higher rpms. level three pulls stronger at higher rpms. You don't need to be messing with the timing that much, no telling what you will mess up. The shift normal shift patterns are different between the levels as well. Different shift points. Just use it as the manual says and you can enjoy it and not mess up your truck.
