Edge Evo problem? Maybe??

I got up this moring to let the truck warm up and when I cranked the truck the Edge Evo screen did not come on. I let the truck warm up and drove it to work with no problems. Then I unhooked the Edge Evo from the OBD port and plugged it back in and it came on and the truck ran fine. I reprogrammed it and cranked the truck and drove it around the shop and cut it off again and the Evo screen would not light up at all. Is the caused by the low temps out side it was 20 degrees outside and the truck was drove on Sat not all on Sunday. Is this a problem that randomly occurs and should I be worried at all about this issue. The truck is an 03 F150 FX4, 4.6. I have had it alomost 2 years and this is the 1st problem I have encountered with it.

Thanks, Rusty

My 05 did that a month or two ago. Before I drove off I turned off the truck, unplugged the Edge from the OBDII port and plugged it back in. Worked with no problems since.

I agree!

I have heard of them going out and having to send them back. However most of them have been in the summer time. When its COLD out like now they do actup at times but the dispaly should come back.

Keep us posted.
