You do not need to send unit. Send money and information and he will create a custom file and walk you through loading it.

Best money I have spent to date.

He is a great guy to deal with

Teaser

Here is a couple of teasers. Custom splash screen. This used to be an option in Lightning but is no longer with the new units. Bill threw this in there for me. It is my "Home Team' and "Co-pilot". Wife doesn't care for it much but "My Truck My Rules"

Here are my program choices. I think # 2 is appropriate.

The best part is the tune. This was just fun stuff

P.S. I will start a review thread. Sorry for the Hijack but the custom tune applies the the OT.

So the Edge can be tuned to work with the K&N's? Didn't think it had the capability to mess with the fuel.
How does a "Bill Tuned" Edge compare with the Troyer offerings? How does one contact him?
Thanks gents.

As far as a comparison I cannot accurately comment. I have never had Troyer. I do know that both have quite a bit of experience tuning and both come well respected. Main reason for Custom Evolution for me was gauges and MPG reading etc... My truck does not have trip computer and I like knowing my temps and MPG AVG etc... I am a data nut. Bill can adjust fuel and timing tables to compensate for CAI and other performance equipment.

I would like to Dyno and post graphs but that will have to wait. I would also like to compare with somebody with Troyer in th So. Cal. area for giggles.

Contact herewww.powerhungryperformance.com

Also as an FYI - Drone that was there under acceleration at 2K with Outlaw is now gone. I was contemplating going back to stock but will keep now.

The lean issue caused by intakes is for the the 04+ 3v engines ONLY. Not the 97-03 2v. It is because of a new MAF design on the newer models. For the guy with the 2000 and the lean codes. It is not caused by your intake and/or edge.

LOL cool splash screens bangingd!!

Bill also did a custom tune for me a while back, didnt know he could do all that cool stuff or may have had him do one for me.

I just had him reprogram my custom tune to lvl1, then keep my stock edge tow tune lvl2. Then left lvl3 edge stock, so I could make my own adjustedments PLUS compare Bills tune with Edges lvl3 stock tune.
