For those with Lightning FTP issues...
...now is your chance! Edge has released the new Fusion Update Client. It no longer suffers from the FTP issues that have plagued Lightning over the last 2 years.
You can download it here --> Fusion Client Setup <--
Keep in mind that it DOES NOT have all the extras that Lightning had. It is a straightforward, update only program.
Those who use Lightning3 to update their Evos will automatically get updated next time they run Lightning. Those with older version Evos will still have to use the old version of Lightning for updates as I understand it doesn't support the older hardware. (Sorry guys...
)
Enjoy.

Okay, I guess I should have been more thorough in my explanation about the difference between old and new versions of the Evo hardware. I apologize if anyone didn't quite understand what the differences were between the old and new versions. I think I've caught this before anyone else gets stung.
To anyone who wishes to update, make sure you check the following:
With the Evo in the truck, push the [Menu] button, go to [Diagnostics] and the go to [Version Info].
If your firmware and calibration versions are two seperate numbers (ie. 2.50.xxxx and 1.0.xxxx, respectively) then you can use Fusion to update.
If your versions are a single number (ie. E3.xx.xx) then you MUST use Lightning to update as Fusion was not ready to support the old units.
Unfortunately, a customer got his older Evo bombed today when updating with Fusion. It shouldn't be a problem getting back up and running, but I know it's inconvenient as all heck. I have sent an e-mail to Edge to let them know that they need to have a look at it.
Ah.... Is it Christmas yet? I need some sleep.
Take care.

KABOOM!!! Yup I got bombed (or at least my Evo did). I just wanted to say thanks again Bill for your help. I called Edge this morning and after a restore using the Lightning software I was good to go. All it took was a 10 minute phone call.
I know it gets said a lot, but I'll say it anyhow...you the man! THANK YOU!!!

As always, you are most welcome.
