Edge Tire size question

I have an issue changing the tire size on my Edge. I have loaded level 2 and level 3 went into custom program on both levels. I changed the rear end gear ratio changed tire size selected "Done" and programmed PCM. After driving and checking against my GPS which is dead on I went back into programming and custom options and loded previous settings and the 3.55 and 2610mm are what is recalled.

My stock tires were 30" and my new ones are 33" which is 10%. This is the exact amount my truck speedo and Edge speedo is off. I even loaded it once with 2700mm just to see if there was any difference.

I called Edge tech support and the first time he told me to load level 2 with no tire change then load it again with new size. Did it - No change

Called again today and they want me to send the unit in to be checked. Before sending it in I just check with other users and Bill.

I have updated to the current versions.

Thanks

So are you saying that at some point the speedo WAS dead on, or that just your GPS is dead on (which I hope it would be!) and that the speedo is always off? I am assuming that your speedo has never been correct after programming but I just want to make sure I understand you correctly.

Factory speedo was on from the factory. I checked it with same GPS. My truck has 3,000 miles on it.

GPS is dead on. (Garmin 76CS)

Speedo is 10% off since installing 10% larger tires.

Speedo is 10% off with stock tune loaded or Edge tunes loaded with tire size changed.

Glad to have you back Bill, Did you get my HEX?

Thanks, Chris

Edge tire size was off for me too, you've basically just gotta fiddle with it til you find your sweet spot. At least you have GPS to go off of, I only had mile markers to use.
