Custom Edge/Sirius install

I took some pics of my Sirius Xact that I built a custom face plate and hardwired so I could use my aux button. Also a pic of my Edge that I installed in my ash tray. Pics aren't great, from my phone.
The Sirius is controled from the hand held remote which is why I had to make 2 holes above the unit so the signal would go through.

See my gallery for pictures. I couldn't figure out how to get them on here.

Nice looking install. Does the Xact power on and off with the truck? The reason I ask is I had one that was powered by a cigarette plug and I left it on about 6 hours on a hot summer day and it screwed it up.

Thanks,iIt has constant power from the cigarette lighter (which is hidden behind the dash) and powers on with the remote. I have it set on auto shut off after an hour so it doesn't drain the battery.

thanks, yes the holes need some work. It was my first attempt. I have a computer router so I'm going to work on some more prototypes.

I'm thinking of selling the setup with subscription good until June. All you have to do is unscrew your stock plate and install this one. Make offer if interested.
