Don't have it with me right now, but it says something about anytime a tune is updated, return to stock. Think about it. If you took your unit out and you had it on Level 2, you go hook up to your PC and start a download, it gets corrupted and ruins your Edge. Do you want it to be in stock mode or do you want Level 2 from your Edge stuck in your truck?

Yes, The Computer won't be able to recognize the Evoluton to do the update unless it is returned to stock. The Lightning software will let you know if you are not at stock or not if you have not done that. If you do not return it back to stock then it will tell you to do so, but to save the hassel, just make sure it is returned to stock.

Here is the reply from Edge:

William,

I believe we now list power level one as Economy to make it in line with the other products. This power level will still only do tranny changes but those can see some mileage gain as some HP can be generated by the changes. The power levels are still the same as in your manual. Let me know if you have additional questions.

I can't find the "falling over dead" smiley! That's fantastic that they got back to you so quickly.

Good luck.

They actually responded to 3 questions I had the same day. Excellent customer service IMO.

I have always received a prompt reply email from Edge when I've asked technical questions.
