Thumbs up Got my tunes!!!

I got my Troyer tunes the other day(sent the sheets in around Sept 22). First impression is WOW. They really woke the truck up. The only things that are iffy is that I have noticed is that the transmission almost shifts too hard at WOT(it almost barks the tires going into second...325-60-18's). Also I have a tiny bit of spark knock for the split second I take off from a stop. From what the Troyer sheets said these are probably because the truck is still in the adaptive or learning phase and not a big deal.

So far I've only used the 87 tune but I'm getting very low on gas so tomorrow I should be able to try the 92 tune Then hopefully I can get the truck on the dyno next month and do some data logging and see if anything needs to be tweeked.

BTW a big thumbs up to Troyer and their crew . Great customer service and offering a great product. If anyone is on the fence about getting tunes go ahead and pony up the money, you won't regret it, wish I would have done it a long time ago!

One quick question. Did you fill yours in on the computer and then print or did you print and fill them out by hand?

x2 Seriously, I ordered mine today. I got a case of "ants in the pants" waiting to put the little booger on. Since I at least get the canned tunes, I have NO problems waiting for the custom tunes. Anything has got to be better than the slow dog I have now.

I wish I could give better advice...I found my gear ratio on my 'window sticker'. I have to assume there is another place written somewhere on the truck. As to the Rocker ratio, lobe center, stroke length, can we put that its stock, or is there somewhere we need to look?

unless I modified the specific item I left the answer as stock.

BTW I just loaded the 92 tune. Just took it up the street real quick like Didn't notice much of a difference at WOT but did notice accelerating normally it seemed to take less throttle. I can just tell I'm going to love this truck even more now! Now if I could just get this thing to keep up with the T/A, I might need a supercharger for that though

I just filled them out by hand (make sure you use a nice dark pen) and faxed them to the number on the sheets.
