I installed my ScanGauge today, and have found it quite fun so far.

I have a single din Eclipse CD player in my truck with a pocket underneath it, so I recessed the Scangauge back into the pocket a little bit (to help keep glare off of the screen). The wire runs right out the back of the pocket, under the dash and straight over to the OBD2 port.

If I remember, I'll take some pictures of it.

I was going to mount mine above the rear view mirror, but there wasn't enough space between the mirror and the headliner. I bought the blend mount, but it simply would not clear. Instead, I used the blend mount bracket and bolted it into that pocket with 3 nuts/bolts. The Scangauge is still velcro'd to the bracket, so it could easily be removed from the vehicle (though the cable routing is semi permanent).

I mounted it by the winshield where the registration and inspection sticker goes but at this point my scanguage isnt working right. It wont let me run PWN it stuck on CANSF.
UPDATE: Got it to work. So far so good.

OK guys, these things seemed too cool to pass up so I ordered one today. I am interested in what my trans temp, & coolant temperature actually are when towing heavy loads. It claims to tell you HP, any idea if these numbers are accurate?
