You can actually get the from Arkon.com ($17 shipped) and search for BT010.

It is hard plastic and you need a nice heat gun to bend it. I bent it on the kitchen sink. The silestone countertop and metal tub was perfect for the temps and a nice 90 degree angle.

 

despite the coolness of that mount for the rear view mirror. i cant tell you how many rear views ive seen fall off in the winter. that monitor bouncing to the floor of a F 150 would be a big loss if it broke.

 

So far, this mount has not let go. Hopefully the cable would keep it from flying out the window

If the mount did happen to let go, it would be a 'lick it and stick it' to get it solid again.
