i need some advice..

Ok, well i have a 06 f150 4x2 with a leveling kit and 20's on 33s and basically i want some more power. I put the tires and stuff on and it just seems like i lost some horsepower and all that good stuff. Im looking for something to gain some horses and torque and maybe some mpg but not worried to much about that because it already sucks. So if anyone could lead me in the right direction to buying some stuff that would be great thanks.

Troyer stage 1 package, which includes: custom tuned xcal2, magnaflow exhaust, and AF! cold air intake. that should get you started and make a huge difference.

if you dont want to spend that much right away, start with just the tuning.

I have

I have the edge..and really like it . I have had no issues with it at all. Plus it is easy as plugging in a phone. I got mine from Summit racing they do price matching so you really can not get a better deal.

^^^ X2 - without a doubt the best bang-fer-buck combo you can buy. Period.

Yeah the CAI and tuner really seem to make a big impact on performance and regaining some lost power. I lost that though when I went with the lift and larger tires and seemed to have lost even more power when I had my exhaust installed. Should be getting my 4.56 gears installed soon, I'll let you know how much of a difference new gears make in the power department.

How much of your money can we spend?

I'd say in this order this is what you want to do, get a Xcal2 from VMP Tuning (www.vmptuning.com) and a S&B intake. As well as a nice exhaust system, I think the Roush Offroad exhaust system is the best out there as in terms of performance, tone, and quality.

If you stay stock the Edge will help you out, but if you add cai, exhaust I would go with a custom tune.

The Troyer stage 1 package then.. I think it's about $1200.. best money you could spend, I guarantee... plus there's a discount from Troyer for being a member of this site..

I wish I'd known about that package before I started.. I did it all seperatly, a piece at a time.. Borla cat-back, $499.. 3" AF1 intake, $270.. Xcal 2 with three custom tunes from Troyer, $449.. so just a bit over 1200, plus shipping charges.. so closer to 1250..

Not that I'm bitchin', I love my truck... MOST especially after gettin' the TUNES.. best money I ever spent on the truck was for those!!
