Had a message on my machine from Crystal at Troyer today as well.. Unfortunately I got home to late to return the call. I'm hoping it's along the lines of what they told you.

I haven't made any changes, they got the worksheets on Aug. 21.

I'll call 'em back Monday and see what's what..

Hmm, seems a little to early for that. Probably something else.

That's what I thought too.. All her message said was, "wanting to update you on the status.."

Which was nice to get a call from them, I've been good about keeping my promise not to call and ask about it until 8 weeks had passed.. lol

So I'll call and see on Monday..

that is what she told me too, about wanting to update me on my status. she appologized about going over the original time quoted and said i should have it in about 10 business days.

she was probably going to tell you the same, because it turns out that my "line" date was aug. 20.

When I first made the order she told me 8-10 weeks, so as far as I'm concerned if I call on Monday and I'm told 10 more business days then Troyer is right on time, if not a little bit ahead.

I've got a good friend with an '06 STX reg cab, he's not too much into mods, but I'm gonna put him behind the wheel after I get the tunes and THEN see what he has to say...

Same here, I know lots of folks that have done wheels, lifts, bags, stuff like that, but none that have tunes.. So I'm anxious too to get 'em installed.

I've only done a cat-back and AF1 so far, both made a little bit of difference, but I'm hoping the tunes will really wake her up..

Called back to Troyer today and spoke to Crystal, basically she was apologizing that it had been over 6 weeks.. Said mine should ship within the next 10 business days, maybe a little sooner..

Very nice customer service IMO!!

I'm surprised that people would wait 10 weeks for tunes. That just seems like an awful long time to me. Ah well... I hope they work nicely for you.

For tunes produced by someone who's specialized in F150's for years?

I'll wait.. what's the rush anyhow? LOL..

All I've read on here and other places say that Troyer writes the best tunes for these trucks, things that work across the entire band not just WOT..

And since I have no intention of pitting my truck against John Force, or Ashley for that matter, I can wait a bit..

VMP and Bama have some happy folks here and the wait time seems to be less.. Who knows, if I'm not happy with the Troyer tunes I'll sure look into alternatives.

Troyer must have been doing the rounds b/c Crystal called me too a few weeks ago. Actually it was the third time they called but the first out of the blue for an update. Really I don't understand all the stress about waiting either but to each his own. Maybe it's b/c I already have the VMP tunes.

Hey Blackdog just curious why you are switching over from VMP. I also have a 07 Fx4 150 5.4 screw (I know you have the Lariat screw 4x4 but same motor) and submitted my sheets 8/29 and Crystal called me Friday 10/5 and said it would be 2 or 3 weeks.
