My VMP tunes are for the stock intake and work very well. I was curious to try the AF1 3.5 which seems to be Troyers bread and butter combo. I feel that it is proven based on what I've read here. These combos I have are not apples to apples. I'm definately not getting different tunes to see if one is faster by .05 seconds or anything like that. That would have to be done in a very controlled situation for results to even be close to conclusive and tunes would have to be written accordingly I would think. Rather the all around combination of the whole thing in all driving conditions including towing.

I hope to be able to give a review of the TP stuff soon b/c Mike called again and I just got an email!!!!!!!

Good deal. I'm very curious to see how these work for you I have never had any kind of tune before. I have magna flows. 3 inch AF1 on my 07 5.4 3v 3.73 LS which is why you can see my curiosity. Looking forward to your review and thanks for the response.

You guys waiting for your Troyer tunes........I got em! I'll give it a week or so at least to see how the adaptive learning settles in and try all three tunes but all I have to say is HOLY CRAP!! I don't know what each of your set ups is but I loaded the 93 performance tune and installed the AF1 3.5 last night (I run a si/so magnaflow for what it's worth) and this combination is freaking awesome.

Sent my worksheets 8/8 and received the tunes 10/9. I made one change along the way.

cdnance, it will take a few days to understand the feel for these tunes. They feel completely different. Driveablility is great so far with awesome partial throttle low and mid power and perfect shifts and torque converter management standing out right away. I get to tow already tonight so anxious to get out of work.
