the xcal2 has 2 analog inputs as well.........

the big difference is the fact that you can datalog those 2 analog inputs on the xcal3 where as on the xcal2 you had to have a laptop and datalog the analog inputs in livelink.

That's potentially huge, as, coupled with the extra memory & faster processor, you could conceivably do the complete datalogging procedure, with all the 12+ required PIDS/DMR's including wideband A/F's, without needing to run LiveLink in the truck. Nice.

yup.
dunno how many your gonna beable to log/monitor at once. The Livewire i have for the mach1 will only monitor/log 6 at a time.

Ill prolly end up picking up a xcal3 and the extra database for the PRP here in the next couple weeks for the truck lol.

Sweet!

I'd appreciate hearing an informal product review

Mickey - there are two inputs available on the mini-Din connector.

In Livelink you can select Analog 1 and Analog 2.

You wanna log a 3-Bar sensor or something?

Current firmware & latest Livelink?
